Decorating for Thanksgiving

My passion for decorating never stops short of going over the top. Its been about two weeks since thanksgiving and I just wanted to share my beautiful set up that I created with the help of my mother. The look I was going for was a classic fancy look with a touch of white and gold. My inspiration took ahold of me and before you know it, I was ordering 12 gold charger plates from Crate & Barrel. And let me tell you, that was not a cheap venture.

This was my initial inspiration and the one I followed the closest. I love the gold charger look with the white pumpkins and touch of glitter. The look of this table made me feel as if I was walking into a exceptionally fancy dinner with a royal.

I ended up using very fancy bone china plate that were my mothers wedding present from her family. They went absoulutley perfect with the metallic gold chargers that were purchased. We also ended up using beautiful crystal wine glasses that were passed down. I was exactly sure on how to fold the napkins so i ended up doing a tree fold that looked very festive for the table. To finish it off, i added white pumpkins that i purchased from amazon and used our crystal candle holders from pier 1 imports to add the sparkle. Here's how it turned out:

I think it turned out absolutely stunning and everyone loved how it looked! listed below is the chargers we purchased, they were a little pricey but well worth it instead of the plastic alternatives.
